On the way home from Wisconsin, C. and I had a two-hour stopover in Minneapolis-St. Paul. So we made plans to hang out with her brother at the Mall of America.

We ended up not having as much time as we thought we did. We took the tram to the light rail travel center, bought train tickets for $1.50, took the train to the Mall of America, and had about 30 minutes to eat dinner with Neil.

So we went to Villa Pizza. It's the closest restaurant to the entrance by the train station -- on the second floor; on the first is the aquarium entrance -- and it's pretty easy in and out.

    C. got spaghetti and meatballs. Neil, who hadn't eaten all day, got a slice and a salad. And I got a two slices: one cheese, and one pepperoni. Also, a bottle of rootbeer, which, even though it was private label for the restaurant, was packaged in New York. Weird.

We wolfed down our food, I used the restroom, and we were back on the train to the airport for our next flight.

Give yourself more time than we did, but the Mall of America is hella close to MSP. And Villa Pizza's not bad. Not bad at all.

I am going to go easy on this place since after all, Luca's Villa Pizza is technically a fast food joint, so going in, I really shouldn't have expected anything more than an Italian McDonald's. Overall, for what you getting, I would probably say pass on this place. Go to a Sbarro or even Pizza Hut. Portion size is not that great. Pizza Really sucks..... Stick with the pasta. And put a lot of cheese on it. The baked Ziti was not all that bad, but will in fact satisfy an empty stomach.
